These beautiful drawings by British illustrator and theater designer Claud Lovat Fraser were four of the 35 hand-colored designs for ‘affordable, quality toys’ that he produced in the early 20th century. The prints would look charming, framed and hung in a row above a crib. What better way to teach a baby to say “cat”?
